ITMAX Secures Third Smart Parking Contract in Selangor with MPS Appointment

KUALA LUMPUR: ITMAX System Berhad (“ITMAX” or “the Group”), an AI-powered integrated digital infrastructure service provider, has expanded its smart parking footprint in Selangor after its subsidiary, Selmax Sdn Bhd, was appointed by the Selayang Municipal Council (MPS) as the operator of the Selangor Intelligent Parking (SIP) system.

Under the 10-year contract, with an option for a five-year extension, Selmax will deploy, manage, and operate all gazetted parking bays within MPS’s jurisdiction. The deal will run on a revenue-sharing model, with Selmax entitled to 50% of revenue generated from parking fees and compound collections.

William Tan Wei Lun, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of ITMAX, said:

“We are pleased to secure our third smart parking contract in Selangor, further cementing our role as a key enabler of the state’s digital infrastructure transformation. Smart parking goes beyond convenience; it serves as a foundational layer for broader smart city development by enabling data-driven urban mobility, improving enforcement efficiency, and enhancing the public’s experience.

As Selangor accelerates its digitalisation agenda, we are proud to support the state’s vision in building smarter, safer, and more connected communities.”

Strengthening Smart City Ecosystem

The appointment marks ITMAX’s third smart parking concession in Selangor, reinforcing its position as a strategic partner in the state’s smart city agenda. The SIP system is expected to improve efficiency in enforcement, enhance urban mobility, and provide real-time data insights to support urban planning and public convenience.
