Desupe Oil Opens Doors for MSMEs in Sandakan, Sabah

SANDAKAN, 02 January 2025 – Desupe Oil, a rising Malaysian engine oil brand, has announced a major expansion into Sabah, creating new economic opportunities for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The company officially appointed Panjilestari Bersaudara Enterprise as its sole distributor in Sabah, a move designed to strengthen its market presence while empowering local businesses to participate in the automotive supply chain.

The appointment is part of Desupe Oil’s broader strategy to integrate MSMEs into its distribution network, ensuring that smaller enterprises in Sandakan and across Sabah can benefit from the growing demand for high-quality engine oil products. By partnering with Panjilestari Bersaudara Enterprise, Desupe Oil aims to create a sustainable ecosystem that enables local entrepreneurs to thrive.

According to Shoffi Jikan, owner of Desupe Oil, the expansion reflects the company’s commitment to inclusive growth.

“MSMEs are the backbone of Malaysia’s economy. By opening up opportunities for them to become distributors in Sandakan, we are not only expanding our reach but also helping local businesses grow alongside us. Our vision is to make Desupe Oil a trusted name in every corner of Sabah, and MSMEs will play a vital role in achieving that,” said Shoffi Jikan.

The collaboration with Panjilestari Bersaudara Enterprise is expected to create ripple effects across the local economy, from job creation to increased competitiveness among small automotive businesses. MSMEs will gain access to a reputable brand, enabling them to diversify their offerings and attract more customers.

Mohammad Shahfidiey, owner of Panjilestari Bersaudara Enterprise, expressed optimism about the partnership and highlighted the strong consumer response to Desupe Oil products.

“Desupe Oil has already received warm feedback from consumers in Sabah. Many drivers and workshop owners appreciate the quality and reliability of the product. As the sole distributor, we are excited to extend this opportunity to MSMEs in Sandakan, giving them a chance to grow their businesses while meeting the needs of local customers,” said Mohammad Shahfidiey.

The initiative is expected to strengthen Sabah’s automotive sector by providing MSMEs with access to premium products and a structured distribution channel. It also underscores Desupe Oil’s role as a catalyst for economic development, particularly in regions where small businesses are central to community livelihoods.

With Panjilestari Bersaudara Enterprise at the helm of distribution, Desupe Oil is confident that its expansion into Sabah will not only boost brand visibility but also empower MSMEs to become active contributors to the state’s economic growth.
