AirAsia Media Rolls Out 360° Campaign to Champion Malaysia’s ASEAN Chairmanship

Kuala Lumpur, 19 September 2025 — AirAsia Media, the travel-media division of Capital A, has unveiled a sweeping 360° integrated media campaign designed to spotlight Malaysia’s role as the Chair of ASEAN in 2025. The campaign supports the Malaysian government’s lead-up efforts to the 47th ASEAN Summit, set to take place in October.

Under the campaign, Malaysia’s ASEAN Chair logo will be incorporated across multiple touchpoints in AirAsia’s travel ecosystem. These include striking aircraft liveries, displays in the MOVE duty-free catalogue, digital banners on the MOVE app and website, car wraps for AirAsia Ride vehicles, and advertising on in-car tablets. The rollout also features collaborations with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and other publicity initiatives expected to generate millions of high-impact impressions, reinforcing the themes of inclusivity, sustainability, and regional solidarity.

Mahek Shah, Head of AirAsia Media, said the aim was to create an immersive experience throughout the travel journey. “From the sky with our iconic aircraft liveries to the ground with AirAsia Ride, we are creating millions of high-impact impressions,” Shah said. He went on to emphasise that the campaign leverages AirAsia Media’s ability to deliver integrated online-to-offline outreach in Southeast Asia and beyond.

With delegates, leaders, and visitors from across ASEAN and the world gathering for the summit, the campaign is designed not only to showcase Malaysia’s leadership, but also to reflect a “whole-of-nation” approach—highlighting the vibrancy of its people and the unity of its message.
