Exabytes and Stradaverse Launch RM10 Million Investment Credit to Accelerate SME Digitalisation

Exabytes and Stradaverse Launch

KUALA LUMPUR, 11 December 2025 — Exabytes Network Sdn Bhd, Malaysia’s leading cloud and digital solutions provider, announced the launch of a RM10 million Investment Credit in partnership with Stradaverse Sdn Bhd, the IT subsidiary of Chin Hin Group. The initiative was designed to accelerate digital adoption among Malaysian SMEs by reducing the upfront cost of enterprise digitalisation, with an initial focus on the manufacturing and retail sectors.

Under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed at Menara Chin Hin, the RM10 million credit will support the onboarding of up to 100 mid-to-large SMEs by subsidising adoption costs for cloud-based enterprise systems. The event was witnessed by key ecosystem leaders, including Khairul Mizan bin Shagul Hamid, Director Industry Facilitation at MDEC; Adjunct Professor Alex Liew, Chairman of PIKOM – The National Tech Association of Malaysia; Dr. Chin Chee Seong, National President of the SME Association of Malaysia; and Adjunct Professor Cheah Kok Hoong, President of ESG Association Malaysia (ESGAM).

SMEs represented over 97% of business establishments and contributed approximately 39–40% of Malaysia’s GDP in 2024, according to the Department of Statistics Malaysia. Yet multiple studies highlighted that most SMEs operated with basic or siloed digital tools, with cost constraints, skills shortages, and limited budgets cited as major obstacles to adopting integrated enterprise systems.

The Exabytes–Stradaverse collaboration aimed to close this gap by providing SMEs with a structured pathway to adopt modern, cloud-native ERP and AI-enabled platforms. Through a single integrated system, businesses could consolidate financial data, streamline workflows, strengthen inventory accuracy, and enable real-time decision-making supported by intelligent automation. Early deployments showed SMEs achieving up to 40% improvements in inventory accuracy through AI forecasting and 15–30% revenue uplift driven by better data clarity and guided decision-making without headcount growth.

Adjunct Professor Alex Liew emphasised the national importance of the initiative:

“Malaysia’s digital competitiveness depended on how quickly our SMEs deepened their capabilities beyond basic tools and into integrated, intelligent systems. While adoption rates were rising, the ‘digital depth gap’ among SMEs remained one of the biggest barriers to productivity and export growth. This investment directly tackled that gap. When SMEs gained operational intelligence, Malaysia’s entire digital economy became stronger, more competitive and better aligned with the demands of the global supply chain.”

A panel discussion following the signing ceremony underscored the urgency for SMEs, particularly in manufacturing and retail, to transition into cloud-native, AI-enabled operations. Eric Foo, Deputy CEO of Exabytes Group, noted:

“In today’s landscape, ERP was no longer a ‘nice-to-have’. It was the operating backbone of every competitive organisation. SMEs that still relied on manual processes faced rising risks and shrinking margins. Through this partnership, we removed one of the biggest barriers—cost—and gave Malaysian SMEs a launchpad to transform into intelligent, data-driven businesses capable of scaling with confidence.”

Abel Saw, CEO of Stradaverse, highlighted the transformative potential of AI-driven ERP:

“AI-driven ERP like Kingdee gave businesses a level of operational intelligence they had never had before, from AI agents that reduced operational surprises to intelligent controls that cut unauthorised transactions by up to 90%. Our goal was to ensure SMEs gained access to the same class of technologies powering global industrial leaders. When we uplifted the digital backbone of SMEs, we uplifted entire value chains.”

Beyond the MoU, Exabytes and Stradaverse began exploring an expanded suite of enterprise solutions, including integrated ERP deployments bundled with cloud infrastructure, backup and disaster recovery, and enterprise-grade cybersecurity. Both parties also worked towards developing a Unified Intelligence Stack, an SME-ready platform where Kingdee ERP functioned as the Intelligent Data Core, enhanced by an Adaptive AI Layer that activated predictive automation and real-time insights.

This collaboration marked a meaningful milestone for Malaysia’s digital economy, demonstrating how industry-led initiatives could complement national efforts to uplift SMEs and strengthen digital competitiveness. Exabytes and Stradaverse called on eligible businesses to take advantage of the initiative and begin their transition into modern, integrated, and AI-enabled operations.
